2nd Annual Christmas Shopping Open House

 

 

Come out and join JM Pottery & Art and Friends for our Second Annual Christmas Shopping Open House!  This event will be held and teh beautiful Old Massanutten Lodge Bed and Breakfast (www.oldmassanuttenlodge.com) at 3448 Caverns Drive in Keezletown, VA on Thursday, November 20 from 5pm-8pm and Saturday, November 22nd from 10am-2pm.  Below is an introduction to the artist who will be there…so without further adieu…

 

Denise's hummer and sunflower Denise Martin is a Photographer in Rockingham County.  She has an amazing eye combined with extreme patience.  She manages to catch nature off guard.  She will have both framed prints and unframed prints for sale.

Kathi's ornament Kathi Seymour creates lovely hand-painted glass ornaments.  She has an assortment of traditional and quirky ornaments available and is open to doing custom work too.  Kathi is a “Whovian” and loves capturing snowmen dressed up as the good Doctor.

Sarah's chickens Sarah Hurst only recently began selling her paintings but as soon as you see her work, you will know that she has a gift with the brush.  She has a variety of subjects including a nice assortment of Chickens, a delightful antique typewriter, an old bicycle leaning against a shed and so much more!  Sarah will have some original work, some prints and some note cards.

  Lynne Siler has been doing basket weaving for several years but is just beginning to sell her work.  She uses homemade natural dyes for her reeds.  Her work is creative, beautiful and finely crafted.

Rachel Miller hat and socks Rachel Miller’s wool socks and hats are beautiful and luxurious. Your feet with thank you for wearing these socks! I received two pair for Christmas last year and didn’t want to ever take them off!  Obviously, I had to, so they could be washed.  They held up in the machine with my regular clothing and I look forward to wearing them again this winter.

blue cheese tray Donation set MPPS  I will have a wide assortment of pottery available and am always happy to take custom orders.  This fall I have spent a lot of time doing hand-built trays, little leaf bowls, and wall pockets.  I will also have many thrown mugs…and maybe some “Santa’s Snacks” plates!  All of my work is microwave and dishwasher safe.
